Hi, I'm sick :( Feeling quite urgh right now, because I don't fall sick that often :/ And so when I do, it's kinda worse than those who get sick more often because they are like more used to getting sick if it makes sense, but that's my theory. HAHAHAHAHA. Nose keeps running, having watery eyes that are on the verge of turning red (just in time for Halloween SOON), cramps and sore throat. What a bad combination right. My menses had to come today, so freaking annoying >:( And the worst thing is, I promised Cheryl to work with her for the event tmr, even though it's only 3 hours, I'm just scared that my cramps will make me feel vvvvvv unwell(which is very LIKELY), and I will need to blow my nose quite oftennnnnn. Tried asking for replacements among classmates, but none of them replied me yet, idk why, but I think there's no hope, haha. Whateverrrrrr, hopefully I can go through it tmr. Another thing, I hope my parents wont say anything, lol. Because I'm sick, so obviously they will make me stay home :/

Anw, met up with F in NUS today(she specially came over :D ) and it was really good, even though I couldn't talk much because of my freaking cramps. LOL :( Ok, I really think I should head to bed sooooon. :(( I WANNA STAY HOME OMG >:'(

Hihihi, this is a uberrrr random post, but I'm just gonna update my blog a little, since I've been neglecting it, and it's like my timeline for every single thing that has happened to me, big or small, and marks every point that I am facing in my life. :) So that when I look back next time, I'll be like 'wow, I've grown', 'I miss those times', etc. Hahahha, I want my friends to be part of my wonderful memories :) So, I'll let pictures do da work all right! :)



Firstly, I met up with the besties @Bugis also to hunt for my B'day present (my birthday was in Apr, it's alr Aug now, hahhaa. But I still lavvv them :)  ) Again, I really look hideous in the pictures, but I'm uploading them for memories' sake. I've really learn to treasure my friends after going our separate ways (sec sch, Poly or JC).

Aaand this is my pressie they bought right there with me, from Sephora. Loving all the Benefit products :)) 

 

Had Korean BBQ. Wasn't thattttt good, was all right only, but the service was awesomeeeee. Hahahha, all the waiters are vv busy and yet they still attend to us and ask if we're fine! :))

Uni Life

Heylowwww, it's been quite long since I last talked to myself over here. hahaha. Uni has started, and I would say it is not AS BAD as what Val said it would be. But honestly, not anywhere fun or interesting. I've made friends, but I'm a person who takes agessss to open up to people, or I'd say strangers. :/ So, I'm not v comfortable in the clique, because everyone is like so close to each other (even though it's the first time we talked), but I'm just there, trying my best to fit in, but it's difficult. It's not that I'm anti-social, in my opinion, OF COURSE, but sometimes I'm just the lazy or rather 'oldy' type who doesnt like much changes to be made in my life. Same goes for friends. It's like I can get really close to people, but it takes time for that person to want to know me enough to know the true me. Sigh, I find myself a trueeee burden. Sighzxzxzx ;(


And because I have different fixed schedules as my 'clique' in uni, so I dont really hang out with them during my whole day in school. Like only during lunch, or our other 2 common and fixed mods. So, they are naturally closer because they get to spend time more. And the thing about me is that, I have superrrrr low confidence and think vvvvv lowly of myself, idk why. It's just me and it's just there in me :( So I feel that I am a boring person, even though oli keeps telling me that I am not and she loves me (hahahha she's reallyyyy sweet). Or maybe I'm just not hanging out with the right group of people whom I feel at ease and can talk to freely, without being scared of them judging me secretly. :/

So I met up with my BFF (hahaha she would be damn happy to see me calling her 'my BFF' because I always say she is just a normal friend to me, heheheh. I was kidding, of course) and her boyfriend. I swear I am like the most freaking awkward person ever on Earth. I was lucky/ it was good that her boyfriend is not awkward at all lah. Only me myself there act like some dk what. HHAHAHA. SOMEONE TREAT MY AWKWARDNESS PLS THANKS. HAHAHA. :( 

Anw, we met up to shop for Jo's 20th birthday present, which is like in March. HAHAHAH. We always give belated gifts cos they are always so busy to meet up! :( So, we walked around somerset and walked over to Ion Orchard to look for the bags she might like/suit. It was quite difficult actually. We had to find one that was below 100bucks (only 2 of us sharing okay! Dont judge us, you richies). So we tried ALDO which has one really nice and cute one (79 bucks, i think) but it was too small for Jo. I liked it a lot though. HAHAHHA. Tried Accessorize, Esprit, Pedro, Zara, Pull & Bear, Topshop, Mango, H&M, New Look, etcetc. Yah, you can see that we walked a lot okay. hahahaa, but poor thing for Elgin lah, cos he had to follow us around and I was snatching some alone time from Cheryl and him. Hahahaha. ANDDDD I have to say that I am damn stupid to wear a pair of flats that would give me blisters after walking for a while. :( Just for the sake of looking better :( But I really like that pair of flats lah. Whatever, so I had like 2 blisters at each foot now. Hahahaha. Wanted to buy another pair of Havaianas or flats to wear and ease the pain, but we couldn't find Jo's present (priority), and I felt bad making Elgin walk around with us. LOL. So, I endured the pain till I got home and oh my gosh. Bathing was the worst part. The blisters at the back of my feet are open, so I have like 2 open wounds and the water which touched it make me feel like kanojwjojsl,z;pkdskdsopqpa,xmdjuddjksdklshdfjkhsnkfnskf. Freaking painful but what to do? I still need to bathe. Hahaha, so I just had to endure. 

So after shopping for Jo's gift, we went to have early dinner at Pastamania (which we had so much difficulty deciding, because the couple quarreled. And I, being an awk person didnt know what to do. I could have talked to both of them about it and be the in-between person, but I didnt know what to do, so we were like errr...). After that we walked around (AGAIN) before heading home. Haha, it was actually not a bad experience going out with a couple even tho sometimes you seriously feel like you are a freaking lightbulb, but I think I am quite smart cos I will pretend to look at other things and let them be in their own couple world. hahahaha, even though Cheryl like a bit shy. Hahahaha she act one leh pls. hahahahahahha!! And so, here are a few pictures we took and it didn't turn out well. I am usually unsatisfied with how I turn out in pictures, so please dont mind me ok..

This is just gonna be a real quick one. Sorry if my posts are boring. Just stop reading if it is not entertaining you, ok? :)

Anw, went to register myself and got my NUS matriculation card and my face (as usual) look like..... yah, you know. Thats not the main thing. What I really wanted to say was, I WENT THERE ALONE. I feel really proud of myself yet it is nothing to be proud of. I mean, it's not that I am a very dependent person, but i HATE HATE HATE, reallyyyyy hate being alone :( Being friendless, being judged for whatever you do, being a loner. Sighh why am I such a loser and why am I so useless. Ikr, such a small thing yet I can't handle it. Like seriously? -.-

I was actually planning to ask people who are alone if they wanna go for the fair tgt, but MOST OF THE PEOPLE WEREN'T ALONE. That was the sad part for me, because I didnt have a chance to make friends with a lonely person. :( And it made me feel really upset and lonely and depressed, having to walk around clueless, and unsure of what to do, etc. Sigh :( Such is the reason why I hate being alone. 

Is anyone suffering from the same illness as me? I think it will never get away from me. We can be BFF.

I AM BACKKKKKK

Nothing much happened to my life the past few days or one week, so I didn't really have much things to talk/blog about. But I went out with my JC friends these few days and so I am back with some really unglam and super ordinary pictures. Because I feel that having pictures in a blog post is so much more fun than having just me talking to myself here. HAHAHA. Not like my language is v good also rightttt! :o Didnt get pictures from C from the meet up on Mon, but we ate at Nihon Mura Express at Cine. Had a reallyyy good time even though we were missing Oli :( Wish she came, it would be so much more fun. Heheheh. And we were really hungry while waiting for F to come because she was late + she had to wait till 7.20pm till she could eat because she was fasting. And Shanel just ate even before she came, even though C and I ate like a plate for 2 before she came too. :x hahahaha. Then we ate and chat and laughed. This is what life should be! Living in Sg makes it so tiring everyday. Students have to study their heads off to get a place in an institute/University while working adults work their asses off to earn as much as they could. Why? Because everything is expensive in Sg. High standard of living but does not mean everyone is rich. In short, I'd rather I was born somewhere else. Honestly, the ONLY thing that I'm glad I was born in Sg is that-- Sg is away from natural disasters. The values and views that Sg has inculcated into us leads most to being so practical and superficial. sigh sigh sigh. Ok whatever, let me get back on track. HAHAH.

Ok, so we went to Costa Coffee for a drink and had some small talks. My fav part. Heheheh :)

The darkest coloured latte is Shanel's Chai Tea Latte. I didnt really like the taste (not because they didn't do it well) because it tasted like a mixture of spices, and I am not really fond of that kind of taste/smell. So yeah. But S was all right with it, so ok! :) 

I ordered the normal hot latte and Oli the Vanilla Latte.

Had a slice of apple crumble to go with our drinks :)

My trip to TW!! *.*

Hi, Im gonna do something super random today. That is to upload the photos I took in Taiwan, which took place a little more than a month ago. Hahahha! I didnt post it up somewhere else, so this will be the first place I'm having it up. Heheheh :) Sorry, Im really bored, thats why. And sorry for my ugly face during the trip :/

DAY 1

DAY 3

Went to 7-eleven to buy tix for the bullet train to Taichung, and saw these superrrrr cute rilakkumas!! Hehehehehe

There we are!

I loveeeee this place a lot. Took half a day to reach there, but I was really happy we spent the money & time travelling there. Wonderful views and amazing creation of God! 

The boat that took us around the lake. The driver of this boat was standing at the boarding gate and he said I was 'very beautiful'. Idk why he spoke to me in English, I found it super funny yet creepy (&embarrassed) about it. Firstly, I definitely dont fit into the 'beautiful' description. Secondly, he must've thought I was someone who didnt know Chinese, because I was Asian and Chinese. So why did he talk to me in English? That was the funny part. Btw, I was scared (IDK WHY) when he praised me. I TOLD YOU I WAS A SCAREDY CAT :/ Ok, maybe cos he looks like an ah beng ok.

A brief intro to this place: the lake is actually in the centre of mountains. Meaning, you have to climb up to the mountains in order to see the lake. Oh gosh, I'm bad at explaining this. It's just a lake situated within mountains and like 'floating' in the middle. Super amazing right? 

One of the 10 wonders in the world, people!! :)) I really love this place.

Spent the day at Xi Men Ding! V nice place to shop :) This is a yam flavoured ice-cream roll with crushed peanut wrapped in popiah's skin! :) Something new!

Ate this at one of the night market. This is vvvv good, even though it doesnt look appetizing here. hehehe!

DAY 5

Otw to Yeh Liu Geopark! Another superrrrrr beautiful place. Super in love with places with breaktaking views, or even simple mountains. I guess it's because we dont even get to see anything close to these in SG. Minus man-made ones. HAHAHA

Rocks- I can't remember what I've learnt in Geog. I am so sorry my geog teachers :/

It looks super sunny and hot from the photos, but the wind was constantly blowing, so you can't feel any heat at all. Perfect weather under the sun! :) But you'll go back turning all black without knowing why. Haha

DAY 6

The only picture I took that day- at Jiu Fen //

A very nice and old place which reflects lives and environment people used to and are now living in. Lots of stalls to stop by and eat. Reached the peak of the mountain and sat by a coffee/tea house while enjoying the scenery. Really nice place to chat and spend time with your loved ones. V quiet and peaceful. 

The buildings and houses there are still occupied btw! 

Aaaand that's about all for my trip in TW! Went for 8 days. Was really happy and glad that my parents brought my younger sis and I over this holidays! Really hope to go back there with my parents, along with all 4 of my siblings :)
