Hi, Im gonna do something super random today. That is to upload the photos I took in Taiwan, which took place a little more than a month ago. Hahahha! I didnt post it up somewhere else, so this will be the first place I'm having it up. Heheheh :) Sorry, Im really bored, thats why. And sorry for my ugly face during the trip :/
Here goes!
DAY 1
Before going into the airplane! :)
The big yellow fella we boarded! We were in TW alr! :)
The super quiet airport over in TW! It was 5+ am!
Our barely awake faces HAHAHA
Our hotel's lobby
My sis haha
It was 20 degrees celcius the day we reached. Super chilly because the wind was blowing like crazy!!
On our way to get breakfast!
Hot soybean milk
Dough fritters
It was super crowded and they were even filming inside! It's as good as it looks here.
Lots of alcohol in super cute bottles
Our first proper meal :)
Mango shaved ice!
A picture of us tgt :)
The view from Taipei 101. I was really happy because the view was really beyond nice!!
This device helped us around the buildings & significant stuffs around Taipei
The ball that stabilizes the building in a case of an earthquake.
Outside Taipei 101. The wind was vv strong, look at my sis' hair. hahahaha
Inside the lift (ceiling). So pretty righttt
At Wu Fen Pu. Didnt really like shopping there. :(
Finally our hotel room! :)
Smelly tofu at Shihlin Night Market! Absolutely not a fan of smelly tofu, but this stall's smelly tofu was not as stinky and looks good tooo!!
This pepper thingy is vvv nice. My dialect's specialty!
They sell these in their 7-eleven(s)!
Look at the variety of beverages. I love their 7-eleven!
Cold noodles for supper heheheh
DAY 2
Our buffet breakfast in the hotel!
The cook in-charge of the noodles was super friendly, and my sis and I were kinda scared. HAHAHHA
Their koko krunch tastes superrr good! Better and different from the ones in sg!
Dam Shui. :) Super relaxing and wonderful place for sunset! :)
We were just sitting by a bench and watching people and enjoying the view
DAY 3
Went to 7-eleven to buy tix for the bullet train to Taichung, and saw these superrrrr cute rilakkumas!! Hehehehehe
In the bullet train! First experience :)
My sista
Reached Taichung, otw to Sun Moon Lake!
There we are!
I loveeeee this place a lot. Took half a day to reach there, but I was really happy we spent the money & time travelling there. Wonderful views and amazing creation of God!
The boat that took us around the lake. The driver of this boat was standing at the boarding gate and he said I was 'very beautiful'. Idk why he spoke to me in English, I found it super funny yet creepy (&embarrassed) about it. Firstly, I definitely dont fit into the 'beautiful' description. Secondly, he must've thought I was someone who didnt know Chinese, because I was Asian and Chinese. So why did he talk to me in English? That was the funny part. Btw, I was scared (IDK WHY) when he praised me. I TOLD YOU I WAS A SCAREDY CAT :/ Ok, maybe cos he looks like an ah beng ok.
A brief intro to this place: the lake is actually in the centre of mountains. Meaning, you have to climb up to the mountains in order to see the lake. Oh gosh, I'm bad at explaining this. It's just a lake situated within mountains and like 'floating' in the middle. Super amazing right?
One of the 10 wonders in the world, people!! :)) I really love this place.
A picture with my sis!
Saw this puppy along the way there. Not afraid of strangers!
:) The rain was gonna come- super chilly!!
Otw to the cable car!
Boarded the cable car
Look how amazing this place is. In the middle of mountain top! How is that even possible!
My friend from Taiwan said this place is getting dirtier and it was prettier in the past :( Really hope this place wouldnt disappear because of the activities of man.

A blur shot of the bullet train (it was too fast for my cam to catch it :/ )
DAY 4
Spent the day at Xi Men Ding! V nice place to shop :) This is a yam flavoured ice-cream roll with crushed peanut wrapped in popiah's skin! :) Something new!
Ate this at one of the night market. This is vvvv good, even though it doesnt look appetizing here. hehehe!
DAY 5
Otw to Yeh Liu Geopark! Another superrrrrr beautiful place. Super in love with places with breaktaking views, or even simple mountains. I guess it's because we dont even get to see anything close to these in SG. Minus man-made ones. HAHAHA
Rocks- I can't remember what I've learnt in Geog. I am so sorry my geog teachers :/
Look at this place. How wonderful is that
It looks super sunny and hot from the photos, but the wind was constantly blowing, so you can't feel any heat at all. Perfect weather under the sun! :) But you'll go back turning all black without knowing why. Haha
Sky and sea as one.
DAY 6
The only picture I took that day- at Jiu Fen //
A very nice and old place which reflects lives and environment people used to and are now living in. Lots of stalls to stop by and eat. Reached the peak of the mountain and sat by a coffee/tea house while enjoying the scenery. Really nice place to chat and spend time with your loved ones. V quiet and peaceful.
The buildings and houses there are still occupied btw!
Aaaand that's about all for my trip in TW! Went for 8 days. Was really happy and glad that my parents brought my younger sis and I over this holidays! Really hope to go back there with my parents, along with all 4 of my siblings :)
Hope this post makes my blog a little livelier to my (imaginary) readers! Hehehehe :)
PEACEEEEEE```` Byeeee
I'm off! ***
